Positions
Summer Internships: We recruit a select number of undergraduate and MBA students for our summer Analyst and Associate programs, respectively.
Full-Time Positions: We hire graduates of undergraduate and MBA programs into our full-time Analyst and Associate roles, respectively.
Roles
We have small deal teams by design (3-5 bankers), so both Analysts and Associates play an integral role in every transaction and have the opportunity to work closely with, and learn directly from, our senior bankers.
Analyst: Includes analyzing companies in a wide range of industries, building financial models and performing in-depth quantitative financial analyses, contributing to team meetings and assisting in developing financial and strategic presentations for clients. Upon completion of the three-year Analyst program, select Analysts may be offered the opportunity to continue with the firm and be promoted to Associate.
Associate: Includes creating in-depth quantitative financial models and analyses, contributing to team meetings and discussions, significant responsibility in developing financial and strategic presentations for clients and extensive interaction with clients on a regular basis. In addition, Associates play an important role in recruiting, training and developing Analysts and Summer Analysts as the firm values its ability to provide high-quality development opportunities.
Qualifications
To be successful at Miller Buckfire, candidates should be highly-motivated, energetic, team-oriented individuals who excel in a challenging, fast-paced environment. Candidates should possess outstanding academic records and have demonstrated strong leadership ability through involvement in extracurricular endeavors. Candidates should ideally have significant experience with financial modeling and analysis, and should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
